Default Yanmar 4LHA-STZE 230hp engine & Twin Disc MG5011A tranny

Does anyone have experience with the following drivetrain components - Yanmar 4LHA-STZE 230hp engine and a Twin Disc MG5011A tranny.

Seriously considering purchase of a boat with this drive train. Planned use on the Chesapeake Bay.

I welcome any comments on maintenance, reliability, serviceability, parts availability etc...

Thanks,
Mark

Go to Boatdiesel.com also if you have the room , hp to hp 6 cy is beater then 4 cy because 4 has to work harder sorter life more vibration higher fuel use. Cy. = torque not hp and torque = power to the prop, cost 200 to 1500 $ more for 6 cy. It depends on how you buy from, you can all was back of to get even beater fuel use. If you have 10% to 15% more wight 2 or 3 trips per year it will pay for it self( long runs).Wight for 6 cy 100 lb. more.
