Where did you get the cowling from? The marina I'm at knocked a hole in mine....dammitt....so I'm charging them with a new one.

I am serious...okay maybe not a "hole" but bad enough that I peel back a piece of fiberglass about 1" square...i know, i know probably not enough to justify a new cowling...but that just makes me sick...oh did i mention they broke the bracket on the transducer lifting it out...now they said i need to move it in towards the motor about 1'...wonder if that will effect the performance of the sounder?

I bought mine on ebay a couple of years ago to replace a damaged one on my boat. Never got around to replacing it.

Top of cowling has a worn area on the top of it it from vibrating and rubbing in the shipping box.

I need to borrow a digital camera and get some pics of it for anyone seriously interested.

New ones are over a grand I think.

There has got to be a bazillion boat parts headed for the used market after these storms.

They owe you for a new one! Thats why they have insurance. Accidents happen.

Actually, there is a body shop in MC that does work on cowlings and I"m going to take it there rather than drop $1300 on a new one.
