what spinning rod would you recommend for 3/4 to 2oz jigs and possibly also used as an inshore popping cork rod? I keep thinking the sailfish is too much and the sp12-20 is not enough for the bigger stuff (I have a shimano rated for 10-20lb and 1oz is a lot for it.

Random rod question: what would you recommend for a good rod to pair w/ a Tiagra 20? I plan to spool w/ 80lb braid & use the combo up north here for jigging & dead sticking jigs like Ron-z's for tuna, & would also like to be able to use it for occasional trolling smaller lures like cedar plugs & maybe hoos.

A lot to ask of one set-up I know, & maybe better reels to do it with, but I have 2 of them sitting around that I want to rig up. Thanks.

Placed my order late on Friday and got my stuff today, mid-day Tuesday. Very fast shipping.

Thanks Bryan, looking forward to using the new rods. If the wind would just lay down...

What rod do you have available that you would recommend to pair with a Avet 50w to be used for high speed trolling?
