Found the kite rod, reel, line, clips and a few extras on the front doorstep Friday afternoon. Thanks Matt and I hope things turn around for you. Thanks for all the text messages and making things right. Now take care of the rest of the guys and then move on. Sent you a text earlier today.

Guys I'm not trying to take up for him at all but i think he will make it right. No it shouldn't have dragged out this long i agree. Hopefully everyone will get there things soon. Dont see how he could keep a business going if he didn't make things right. Well guys hope you get ur stuff. Carry on.

I am hoping he makes it right. That's the only reason I haven't filed a case with Paypal. But if at day 40 I have not received it will. I understand things happen but it just kind of upset me when he said it would be there on Thursday at the latest and it wasn't here on Monday.

KIng Ranch i totally understand man. You got to do whats best for you no doubt. Paypal is great way to cover ur ass on most cases. Once again i hope u get ur items king ranch. I have known matt for a very long time. I'm hoping he makes it right for everyone and throws in extras for everyone. Matt i hope things are ok with whatever situation came up. I think u being matt u will take care of things with these guys.

I really hate to keep bringing this up...no I don't, I want everyone to know what they're dealing with.
twice this clown has PM'ed me that my items had been shipped and they still are not here! two days after his last PM I was notified by PayPal that the dispute was settled in my favor so it's not the money i'm worried about. I am not gonna just sit here and do nothing while this guy lies to me and judging by other posts it has happened to others. some keep saying he will make it right, and shit happened that he couldn't avoid, and give him time, blah, blah, blah. I understand sticking up for a friend but there is NO EXCUSE for lying to someone TWICE about the shipment of items that were paid for.

Are the disputes lodged against him?
I did receive a partial order for my $360, but a broken St Croix rod was never replaced. It is worth at least $120.
Unfortunately, I paid him back on July 12th. Got my gear around August 15-20 and still not hearing from hm concerning the rod.
I think I'm screwed, but probably getting off lighter than some folks are.....
Also, never filed a Paypal claim. What is the procedure? If he has no balance in a Paypal acct will they still settle with you?

I have bought 3 TLD25's and a Talica 25 from Matt. It was the same story. I got my stuff but I decided that the discounted prices weren't worth having to worry about losing my money. ;?

They have access to his checking account plus it's backed up with a credit card as well.

Yes I have received everything but about $60-$75 worth. And over the last 2 weeks have been told I should receive it in the next 3-4 days. Don't get me wrong I understand things happen in life which I will be posting about tomorrow (a friend is going thru major complications with a child birth) but at the same point in time if these customers are your livelihood the least you can do is keep them up to date and be truthful with them. My friend who is in sales and is having the complication with the child birth updated all of his clients within 12 hours of it happening and basically laid out a very plain jane description of what is happening and said I will keep you updated and if you would like a refund I will gladly refund you money. I am pretty sure that's basically all anyone is asking for from this situation is to be done right and not be jerked around. I will be honest I would much rather have what I order than a refund. But either way I don't want to lose what's left.

Paypal did go ahead and file a dispute for me today, even though it was past the 45 days....

Well, Paypal has begun a dispute for me...
It is long past the 45 days they usually give you, but hoping for some resolution.

As bad as I feel about the gear, I truly hope he is OK and gets himself well.
