Hi I need a transom mounted rod holder do you have any rod holders that have a slot even a thin one cut out of the front to hold spinning rods. I do allot of plugging for strippers and would like to store 3-4 spinning rods nice and secure without them flopping around. Im probably looking for a unicorn, I want the nice rod holders you have, I’ve seen cheaper looking junk ones on the net but I want the high quality nice ones that you have.

Default Grady Marlin transom rod holder

Hi - I'm looking to possibly add a rod holder to this transom section of my Marlin. Not sure if two would fit using 50 size reels.
Also 15 degrees for trolling and possibly Vlock so it would be removable.

In addition maybe over the winter I'd like to add 2 rod holders to my hardtop rocket launcher if possible, one additional on each side for a total of 6?

Looking to mount a rod holder on the side of my console cant be any longer then 35 inches. And something that doesn't stick out very far would be ideal. Would like it to hold 4 to 6 reels/gaffs if possible. Pm me with a quote/pictures of ideas please

I see a few posters after me, not trying to throw mud but FYI:

It really looks like he does nice work but I called him twice in July, sent and e-mail, and posted here and have never bee responded to. If I do anything it would be over the winter to give allot of time.

He's a state trooper and gets very busy. His work is great and pricing is even better, you just have to give him time, its worth the wait. He also has a FB page Carolina Aluminum Products.

That set up was used on the Sea Hunts RzR bay boat. With the stainless Vlock, you could prob get way with trolling from it. Ideally, you would have your drag set so even a big bite wouldn’t creat a ton of force

Hey Palmetto - what is the best way to get in touch with you to discuss a custom transom rod rack? I've got some specific space/mounting needs.

Have you done any rocket launchers for the hard tops of a dual console World Cat? Looking to get a powdercoated white rack done with 5-7 rod holders on it. The hardtop does have a slight curve from edge to edge so if you want to PM me what type of measurements you would need that is fine. I am at Ft Bragg so worst case I could tow the boat to you since it looks like your only about 2.5 hours or so away. Thanks.

Dave did mine about 5 years ago. Cant speak highly enough of the work. New truck now so I just had it line-x black to match. But aluminum was still perfect after all these years.

Hey PalmettoTrooper
I’m looking for kingfish rod holders I can add to the under side of my KW239 hard top that will angle the rods up slightly. I’m afraid if I do horizontal they might fall out. Do you have anything like this? Thanks!
