Can you post a picture of the 30 degree flush mount rod holder. I believe i saw one in the beginning of the thread, but can't see it now.

Hi Palmetto Trooper: Can you make two of the rod holders in post 1394, one for Port side (with the male end of the rod holder to the left) and one for Starboard side (with the male end of the rod holder to the right)? These would go into a 15 degree rod holder so the cup holders would need to tilt down 15 degrees so they sit level when in place. Please let me know price and estimated delivery, I'm ready to buy. Thanks,

I am looking to add a rod rack to my transom. I have 7 inches from the stern to the engine covers when I lift the motors and I have 55 inches in length to work with.

Here are my questions:
1. Do I have enough clearance to have a permanent rack with the holders slightly angled?
2. With 55 inches to work with how many holders could I have w/ enough space for the larger reels?
3. How much would this setup be shipped to 18976 Pennsylvania?
4. Do you also make holders that clamp onto the bow rails? (Need 4 of those as well)
Thanks
Mike

7” is great. A rack with a slight degree of angle will only stick off the transom 4-5”. With 55”, I would suggest 7 if your going all vertical. If you angle one between your engines, u could go with 8. This is the standard measurement on the Contenders as well
Shipping is 30.00 and your looking 250-300.00 for the finished product

I won’t be able to get down to the boat till Feb to take more measurements.i am leaning toward the 7 rod holder option. I have a backrest that hangs over the stern so the rack def needs to have a slight can’t Or the holders will need to be slightly angled so the rods will clear the backrest. I saw you also have Vlock options. How many Vlocks would I need for a 7 rod rack? Can you troll with Vlocks? What would the cost difference be using Vlocks?

Hey palmetto,
I saw some other stuff you had done for truck beds. I'm thinking an 18 rod holder that mounts to top rails and maybe has 2 support legs on it. 3 rows of six rods maybe? Can I call you sunday?

You will have to buy the vlocks separately. They are about 35 bucks a piece. And yes you can troll with them. I have 2 triple rod holders on my transom with v-locks.

I have a rack on our SH and we troll with it...Been going 4 years strong now on the starboard Vlocks.
With 7 holders, I would go with 3 attachment points and your looking around 290.00 or so plus the 30.00 for each v lock

Default Rod Rack for Transom

Have you done any work for Sea Hunt gamefishes? I have a Sea Hunt Gamefish 25 and would like a 7 rod rack system for my boat. 3 straight up, one going out for trolling, and the 3 others straight up. all in one rack. do you have an idea of what im thinking?

You always have the side of the console to put a little rack. U can get 5 down low near the floor between the legs of your hard top.
