According to Volkswagon 7700lbs, although I would expect that to be a bit dubious. It's a pretty powerful vehicle though so 6500 should be no sweat. All in all it's a "cheap Cayenne". Thanks, for the input, more pics to follow.

Thanks. It seems strange that it has a higher (rated) towing capacity than my '02 Lexus LX470 V8 (that's a freakin' tank);? Good lookin' SUV though & seems like a good deal for somebody w/a family & a bayboat to pull

I can't believe that towing capacity! I was looking for something to replace my Infiniti FX-35 that could also tow my Grady (3,600 lbs).

I'll have to test drive one of these.

...overall avg is about 21 mpg.....just for clarification I have the diesel V10....
