My dads been tied up working on a couple of the big under the leaning post tackle centers and hasn't had the time to work out the kinks and he won't sell it unless it's perfect so hopefully in a couple of weeks he'll be able to figure it out.

Default Tackle drawer

Lee, could you let me know how much for 2 tackle drawers? what was the rough opening cut for the drawer and how deep was the inside box? Can they be made in seafoam colored starboard or at least the outside frame and panel? sorry for so many questions but I was going to build this exact same thing over the winter but after seeing your fathers work I know I wouldnt come close to his. Thanks

gdown and leapfrog, the price on these are $130.00 a piece for the drawers in white and $145.00 a piece for the seafoam because we have to special order the seafoam. The cut out size for the box shown is
15 1/2" x 13" and it is 6 1/2" deep. The depth can be changed to go up to 8 1/2" if needed. Thanks for the compliment on my dads work. He really does some awesome work. A lot of people think he makes these things with a cnc machine but it's all hand made and I've seen this stuff cut with a cnc and it doesn't compare to my dads work. Let me know if you have any other questions guys and thanks again,
Lee

Lee your dad is amazing. I am really impressed at the ideas that have come out of this thread and his execution of them. I just installed the 3 single drink holders that I got from him a few weeks ago.

Ok, here is your next challenge. I...and others, need a ballyhoo holder. The purpose of this device is to hold your ballyhoo upright while you floss up his head for a circle hook. Taken a step further, it needs to either be adjustable or have a second holder for spanish macks. Here is one way to do it(but I do not like the slanted holder. http://www.tarheeloutfitters.com/Bal...Tray-p/brt.htm

Another: http://www.baitbuddytray.com/baitbuddyballyhootray.htm

My idea of what I would want would be for the base to be a flat piece of starboard with rounded corners, maybe 10" long and 6" wide with 2 "holders" mounted on it. There has to be a cut away so the head sticks out and can be tied. I would prefer the sides of the holder to be straight up and down instead of slanted. I think some kind of non-skid material on the bottom would be great. What do you think?

Sea, I ordered the 4 cup holder from youboys and I have to say its awesome. My Pop went and picked it up. He told me you boys are thru and thru COUNTRY. Said he had to drive over grass to get to your shop. That's awesome. Thanks for the product, its very nice. If I missed it, please keep us up to date on your Leader holders. I need that bad.

Thanks for the great work. You guys are a great company to do business with.

LOL.... That's funny, yea my dad almost lives in the green swamp but he's not big on the city. I don't think a home owners association would let him do his work out of his garage like he does. I'm glad you like your cup holder and as soon as my dad gets a spare day or so he's going to finsish up that leader dispencer and a couple other things, he's just super busy right now but that's a good thing. Thanks again man and keep in touch.

Hey bigtuna, yea you can get the suction cups with anything that we have space to put them on. Just wanted to remind you guys that these suction cups are the best I've seen. They really hold and it's hard to get them lose.

JAGSARE1,
My dad wanted me to let you know that he's got something figured out that he thinks you're going to like. He's super busy right now working on one of the big tackle centers and as soon as he's done he's going to make one up and send you pics to see what you think about it. Thanks for the idea, that's something that we would'nt have thought about.
Thanks again,
Lee

Hey guys,
We had a problem with my dads email and we lost the last two days of email. If anyone has sent my dad an email in the last two or three days ago can you please resend it? Thanks and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Any pics / dimensions / price on the tackle drawers? I was looking for something to install on the port side of my console with a door that would open up to several drawers on the bottom and a place to hang lures/rigs above. I guess you could call it a closet!
Thanks

Thanks,

A lot of people use these things and generally make their own. I'm anxious to see what he comes up with. I wish I had your dads skill. I have worked with starboard since it first came out but there are a few things I can never get right. Routing always ends up chunking the edges and even countersinking has been impossible to get a smooth depression. Even if I figured those out, I couldn't match your dads work even in my dreams.
