I have a 31 contender and want to purchase new or used teaser reels. i have a soft top.

I sent you a PM. I have a used set of reel colors teaser reels. 10" polished aluminum color. They need new eva foam on the handles, I just haven't had a chance to buy new ones yet.

I have the big johns, they are actually a planer reel.

I got them locally for around $65 each. For the price I figured I would at least try them before spending several hundred each on fancier ones. They reels themselves are not aluminum, which is why they are so inexpensive. they come with a "clamp" mount for mounting on tubing, which I didn't need. I simply took the back off and through bolted them through my top. They worked very well for a light duty, inexpensive teaser reel.....

a friend of mine directed my attention to the following product at Bass Pro.

any thoughts on this product or modunlavy product would be appreciated.

i understand that both are not aluminum, but I'm not quite sure aluminum or a similar product would be required. thanks for your assistance.

i bought teaser reels from reelcolors.com. i bought the small boat version and love them. the owner is tom testa, he is a quality guy give him a call and see what he can do for you 860-575-6376.

I have to second Mark on Sportteaser reels. Headhunt(Alan) makes a great teaser reel for all applications. Check 'em out
