Might be a smart idea to put the model in your ad since Suzuki made many models in 2005.

Thanks Blues, I missed that. These are the 250 HP four stroke cowlings. Thanks again.

You may not be aware that there are literally hundreds of those cowlings lying around across the country. I too have a pair of 250's that had the paint pox, and mine too were replaced by Suzuki under warranty. There have been a dozen or more listed for sale on this site for as low as $50, and I've not seen any that sold. And don't forget that engine cowlings are a bitch to ship . . . . . . . .

First light, I've seen them sell anywhere from $50 to $150 - the problem is shipping, the covers are "oversized" for any of the carriers so they are in the $75-100 range to ship if I recall correctly.

I picked one up locally and use it instead of my factory new cowling - it was about the same price as the suzuki canvas cover and a lot less maintance. (although admittedly it looked just "okay" when I bought it, and a year later has continued to go downhill)

Still for sale!! I would consider trades for any offshore tackle, reels, rods, etc...

I am open to any offers. Cowlings are in the Philadelphia area and local pick up is the best option due to shipping costs. Tom 215-407-5202.
