Searched the forum today and looks like I'm three days late! Was looking for radars/advice for MY 199 23' Hydra-Sports WA hardtop which I bought used last fall, and which looks suprisingly similar to your boat. If you could give me any advice on why and how you chose/then upgraded and mounted your radar I would appreciate it. I was debating between the 18 Garmin Radome vs. the 404 Open Array. I installed a Garmin 4212 (bought from BOE marine) and am specifically interested in the need for the additional height from the mount, and need for the wedge. Any thoughts about your experience would be helpful.
I boat in Narragansett Bay and Rhode Island sound, off Block Island.
Thanks!

linesider,
You may be better off posting this in the electronics forum. I think you would get more response. Just tell them application and plenty of people will chime in!
good luck
