Default WTB (2) 150 four strokes

Shopping around for a set of used 4 stroke 150's. Would like to have either Yamaha or Suzuki in a 25" shaft. They will be replacing 2001 HPDIs w/ 25". Obviously I would like to find them cheap. Warranty would be a plus. Not interested if they have more than 500 hrs on them for I will do that in a season or two myself. Thanks for the help.

FWIW, if it is a smokin' deal on a boat that has them, I might pull the HPDIs off of mine and do a swap then resell.

Thought if nothing else, someone was wanting to upgrade in motor size and dealer was not providing any lube or protection, I will supply both.........for the right price........

Not Yam's, so a little fussing on the switch, but you could get out w/ new engines for short money...

There is a guy selling a pair of Yamaha F150's at the Glacier Bay forum for $14,000. It might be worth contacting him. They have 3 years left under warranty.

You can buy a new pair of 'zukes for $18k. I'd go that way before paying $14k for used.

Can buy new ones for $18k why take $14k for used ones that have 600 hours. I know the guy and have been on the boat many times. He takes care of them but I am not going to spend that much on used.

He's asking $35k. I figure he did the repower for $25+k. What is a WorldCat 266 worth w/ a set of HPDI's? Guess alot depends on your # of hrs on them. Heck, offer him $28k, swap the engines, and even if you sell the World Cat for $25k, you are repowered for $3+k - not bad. Not w/out risk for sure & assoicated costs...

Not being a SA, what do you mean? The camera video is all shot in HD 1980 x 1080 and was mounted to a weighted base that was set on the bottom and left for an hour. What you saw in the clip was just a short take on what was at the anchor when I got down there. This was prior to us setting up our targets for sizing of fish that were placed at set distances from the camera.

The weight of the stand is why the video is a little shaky in the beginning. Kind of awkward and heavy to swim with.

Hope this answers the question.

Nobody is wanting to upgrade in size from 150 hp motors and getting hit too hard on the trade in value????
