Thanks Tim - I checked and they don't have a pair of the 15 x 21 (4 blade). Good assortment tho.

i'm assuming this is for a DF V6. suzuki doesn't actually make a 15 x 21, they come 15 x 20 or 15 x 22, otherwise you might have to try another brand with a compatible hub

yes, they are for DF200's. currently running 16 x 23 (3 blade).....want to change to 4 blade and also get rpms up around 200 more. not sure which pitch would come close to doing that. any suggestions? thanks

probably try the 15 x 22 4 blade, that motor should spin between 5000-6000, i like getting them in the higher end of that

thanks. with the current 3 blade 16 x 23, it's turning 5700 -5800 wot and fully trimmed. i'd like to see it turn 6000 with a 4 blade. my main reason for switching to 4 blade is to hopefully eliminate excessive ventilation in really sloppy conditions.

4 blades should help that, but you may also try lowering the motors if you can

can't lower motors anymore. they have one more hole but the McKee transom is too wide. the lip at the top of the motor mounting bracket won't reach across the transom (sits on top)... i guess thats a good thing tho.

Libra - 12/17/2008 thanks. with the current 3 blade 16 x 23, it's turning 5700 -5800 wot and fully trimmed. i'd like to see it turn 6000 with a 4 blade. my main reason for switching to 4 blade is to hopefully eliminate excessive ventilation in really sloppy conditions.
If that is what you are turning with those props, you really need 16 x 21 - although the 16 x 23 obviously work.

For Suzuki four blade props, you would want 15 x 22 to turn 6000 - maybe 6100 rpms..

Talked with the Powertech guys ref. 4 blade and the need to eliminate the ventilation. They first suggested 16 x 21, mainly to keep rpms about the same but maybe lose a little speed. To get my rpms up to around 6000 and keep my current speed or maybe a bit better they suggested 15 1/4 x 23. Both should eliminate the ventilation and give me "bite", which is really my main need. Other than that, the 16 x 23s are very strong in most conditions. They are really proud of thier props tho.
