Default 2002 Excursion w/ 7.3L Diesel 4x4 - Limited Package

$13,750

4x4 Limited Excursion (loaded out) with the tried and true 7.3L. Tires have less than 15K miles on them. I have all service info. Has the rear DVD system, 4 WD, all leather, heated seats, trailer tow mirrors, 3rd row leather seat, rear air, etc, etc. It has a couple small dings in the rear bumper from bumping the trailer and a slight tear in the driver's seat leather (I have pics, if needed). I could probably take it to a upholstery shop and get that fixed pretty easily. Shoot me an email at stenzelk@gmail.com for more info or pics.

Not quite to 105K miles. All service records. Oil and filter changed religiously every 5000 miles. Transmission services done every 20K miles. Fuel filter every 10K miles. Ball joints were just replaced a couple months ago, so that $1200 service is already behind you. Just changed out the alternator a couple weeks back, too.

As you probably know, this thing will tow the biggest of boats and will get good fuel economy doing so.

I had this listed several months ago, but just kind of wanted to sell it. Now I'm serious about moving it. I've dropped a couple thousand off of the previous price. This price is where I was getting some offers last time and now the fuel prices are down 50% from where they were when I had it listed last time. If you're interested, act fast.

I may consider trading up (Excursion + cash) for a loaded out 07 or newer Yukon or Tahoe. Also, may consider trades (Excursion + cash) for a 07 or newer Harley Street Glide or Road Glide.

Title in hand.

On the info plate (driver's door jamb) under the word, AXLE, is a two digit code. Usually a letter and number. What is it?
I'm trying to learn what ratio of rear end is in your truck, BTW. You might be able to tell us the shift point into high gear without seeing the axle code....does it shift at 40 @2000RPM or at 43@1750RPM?

Dude... you need to keep this gem. A Tukon does not compare, or make economic sense. If I had 13K laying around, I would scoop this up. One of my favorite all time cruising/towing vehicles.

It's probably a 373 LSD. Did they make these in the 410's???

yes they did. The 2000 Ex I'm selling has the 4.10. A real stump puller for hauling, but costs about 2MPG doing it.

The Gator plate is off the front bumber. Took it off when I thought I had it sold. Why do you think I was able to lower the price?

I still have the original window sticker from when the vehicle was sold. It has the 3.73 axle. Even for the Limited edition, that was considered an upgrade that they charged more for at the time.

If I thought that my job would be transferring me back down to FL within the next year or so and I'd be back into a big offshore boat, I wouldn't think twice about keeping it. Just don't have those towing needs now.

Where in Arkansas? I'll be in Arkansas tommorow,if close I'll take a look. I had a 2000 I ran to 220,000 and bought a low milage 2001 and ran it to 240,000. Both 7.3, very dependable and about 17-19 mpg.

Unfortunately, I'm out of town visiting relatives in Minnesota and won't be back in Arkansas untill Sunday and the Excursion's inside my garage, so you wouldn't even be able to look at it. I'm in NW Arkansas. Rogers, just north of Fayetteville.

If it has a 7.3 the only option for the rear axle is 3.73 in a Ex. A gasser could have had a 4.10. PM me the VIN # and I can determine the ratio for sure but I am about 99% sure I am correct.

I'm sure it's the 3.73. States on the window sticker that I still have from when the vehicle was purchased new.

If you have the 3.73 rear end, then your truck is getting close to 20MPG, isn't it? Power and economy at a super price. Good luck with it!
