Arrow BRAID - New product from Blue Action Tackle

Blue Action Tackle is pleased to now offer a line of Braid in various sizes and colors. As with the fluorocarbon line, I was determined to get real world data. This was done both on the water and on the shop test table by highly respected tournament and commercial fisherman. As always, I was also determined that the quality could be matched by reasonable prices.

To that end, I have included below a testimonial as well as the actual data from testing.

………………………………………………………………

“Once again, I had the pleasure of testing a new product for Blue Action Tackle. On the bench, this new high end braid broke above its rated strength. It also ties easily, and is silky smooth”
- Dan Sherraden - Rezoned Fishing Team - Alligator Point, Florida - @rezonedfishingteam

Tests:
  • 65lb test average break strength: 70lbs
  • 80lb test average break strength: 82lbs
  • 200lb test average break strength: 205lbs
…………………………………………………………………..

The initial offering is for spools ranging from 1500yds up to 3000yds with pricing starting at $120.

PLEASE SEE WEBSITE FOR DETAILS AND CURRENT AVAILABILITY:
LINK: BLUEACTIONTACKLE.COM

Given that these original posts cannot be edited going forward, please check back and/or see the website for update offerings of additional sizes, colors and lengths.
As always, please contact me for any questions or requests
Doug

Not being able to edit our ads after a day or so is something I cant comprehend.

If this line is as good as your other products, and will assume it is, it will be a fine addition for us anglers!
Done and THANKS!!!

Isn't solid braid an oxymoron?

First, thanks for the discerning eye! Edited!
(It's actually redundant vs an oxymoron)

If for the 80lb, 82 is the AVG breaking strength, what is the reported lowest that it broke at?

I did not keep the individual results but, suffice it to say, it never broke under the stated lb test

Looking forward to filling my Hooker 80's with the 65 for swordfishing. Good feeling knowing I can trust the gear I get from Blue Action Tackle!

Thanks for asking but unfortunately not. It would take too large a spool for that lb test to to be able to be feasible.
1500yds is largest in 200lb test.

  • A sincere thanks for that. The 30lb has been updated.
  • The availability of test/length/color are updated. I'm looking forward to having more stock/choices available in future.

Blue action braid works great for deep dropping. Yellow 65 is bright as you can see in photo
