Default How to test/verify Fell MOB is working properly?

I had a Fell MOB installed and is working properly in that I can press the fob button and kill the engines. However, I haven't tested a MOB situation to insure the engines will be cut automatically. What is the best way to test/verify the engines will be cut in a MOB situation?

Just leave engines running at the dock and walk away with fob and put your fob in a bucket of water. Both instances should kill the engine. I guess the bucket of water is not sufficient to test, according to Fell, but it has worked for me.
