Fob batteries always dead.

Is anyone else having issues with the fob battery always dying quickly? I seem to get only a few weeks clock time and about 20 hours connected time from a cr2032 battery. Seems like every other trip I’m using the bypass cap because my FOB is dead when I get to the ramp....which kinda defeats the purpose.

Happened again!!. New battery, go fishing, 10 hour day, it’s all good. My fob is in a wristband and stays in my watch drawer between trips.
next trip is 10 days later. Get to the boat, Fob is dead again! I have to use the bypass cap on the cable about every other week. It’s not going to save my life in that configuration. Seems like a battery should last more than one trip.

Hello Hammerhead and Shipwreck.
This is FELL Support. Sorry you are having a problem, we will assist in resolving it. The battery should last approximately 300 hours of connected use, so there is something going on we need to invetigate.
Please email FELL Marine at support@fellmarine.com and provide the serial number of the FOB (located on white label behind battery on the inside of battery cover) and all your contact information. This will create a service ticket in our system and we will work with you to isolate the issue and get it corrected.
Thank You,
FELL Support
