Default Dim or eliminate flashing light?

Put one of these on my boat a few weeks ago. Love it, except for tonight when I ran it for the first time in the dark. Flashing green light is killing my night vision. Any way to eliminate that or dim it?

The camera doesn't do it justice, as the potter/stereo/MFD are all dimmed down low, just look bright in the photo. When just the blue status/paired lights are on it's perfectly fine. About every 30 or so seconds the green light flashes and its bright enough to wash out your eyes.

This is fine.

How do I stop this light from flashing at night. It's horrible.

I am having the same problem with my MOB. This is the 2nd MOB I have had (MOB installed on two different boats) and the green flashing light is new. I used my old boat and my new boat several times at night and no flashing green lights. Went out fishing last night and it was nuts with the green light flashing. I also had an intermittent beep. I plan to replace the FOB battery to see if that fixes the issue.

Hopefully someone from FELL Marine will give us some suggestions.

It evidently stops after 5 minutes. Still annoying as hell. Great product, but the green light is annoying and adds nothing to the product, particularly for those of us that frequently run at night.

ok, I will wait it out. Guess I never noticed it before, but last night I used my kill switch to kill the motors when drifting. When I reconnected the FOB it was beeping and blinking for a while as I motored back to the dock. Guess I just never have done that before at night to notice the green light.

Hi All,

Thank you for your posts and comments!
As some of you already correctly pointed out, the flashing green light indicator will automatically time out after 5 minutes.

We have added this to our FAQ on the support pages as well, so thank you for helping us improve!

Best regards,
FELL Marine

Can you confirm, is it t min after pairing the stop fob, most recently fob, or powering up the unit.

I often boat at night with my kids. Easy enough to leave my fob on the boat when I go down to prep it, but theirs are on their jackets which they wear down from the house to the boat.

I use my boat and Fell MOB at night a great deal. And you are right ..... that green flashing light is a PITA. I deal with it by placing a rag over top the MOB until the light stops.
