Default Axle Question

Guys, I need a pair of 80" frame 94" track 6000llb torsion axles for my Road King....the ones from RK come with idler hubs...do you carry these? and do the hubs have adequate Lug lenght to support Kodiak slip on stainless brake rotors?

Can you confirm your bracket dimensions? I'll go confirm the stud are long enough now.

The studs are plenty long enough to use the hat style brakes from Kodiak.

That's the right axle 80" frame 94" track....thank you for checking the studs! I will be upgrading later this Spring...too cold for now...I'll call you guys then.

Is there any major advantages or disadvantaged to the slip on Kodiaks v the integrated hubs? I am only considering the slip ons because I can't find axles without idler hubs.

IMHO there is a definite advantage to the slip over rotors, much easier to replace and work on.

Do you have the Tie Down 6000 lb torsion axles?

Part number ETA6080 I believe....I can't find them on your website.

That Road King axle is from Tie Down, is it not the right one for your trailer?

Clearly it is the one to one match, the problem being that I may not want the Idler hubs that come with it...if it bears the Road King part number there is no choice but to get idler hubs or even worse...tie down brakes...

Ok I just wasn't sure what the issue was. I emailed Tie Down to check availability and cost.

Since Dexter purchased Tie Down I'm having trouble getting quotes like I use to. I'm still working on it and didn't want to think I had forgotten you.

Hey guys, I'm getting closer to my trailer rebuild and have another question...can you get teh Road King part number CBB510HD ?

This is a heavy duty L bracket 5x10....I like this one because it's 3/8" thick....if you have a different one that is similarly 3/8 thick that will do...

The two I stock are closer to 1/4", you can call my retail store and ask for Steve. He does all of the special ordering from the trailer manufacturers we deal with, and can help you with the brackets.
