Default Leaf springs

I have a recent post on truck and trailer section about my trailer springs. The 2-3 year old 1750# springs on my trailer are shot - 2 broken and one flattened, one ok. I assume it's due to the quality (poor) of the
Springs which were replaced by a shop. Should I upgrade to 2000# 4 leaf or stay with the 1750's? Is there a contact I can speak to on Monday? I'd like to get this done in case trailer is needed, thanks.

I posted there before I saw this, I would bump up to the 2000# springs. Then spray them every 3-6 months with a salt protection spray and they should last 2x long.

Both of mine just snapped after about 4 months. Bought from a reputable 30 or more year old trailer parts dealer. Both snapped in the same spot. No extra weight or water in the boat. I'm guessing their supplier used cheap metal. I will get more details when my trailer guy comes to the house.

Boat is 3660# with engine so max weight would be less than 5000#. How do I measure length of c-hook, or open eye springs? Bolt centers are 25 3/4", springs could be 26 or 26 1/4". The bad ones look to measure 27+, the only good one maybe 26 3/4 to the eye. All are 29 1/4" on center from hanger bolt to center bolt on equalizer.

UPDATE - determined they are 26.25 length. 1725#.
