Default $53 in ground shipping for 2 bean bags to Texas???

Looking to buy 4 of these but thought I would try out two to start with so I went online to order 2 M Longnecks and got to the checkout screen and the shipping for ground service is $53? I cannot in my right mind do that. Is there anywhere in Dallas or Pensacola that would sell them so I can avoid the shipping costs? I see some on Amazon since I am a Prime member but not the M Longnecks I want.

I asked Sea-Rider if they sell them without filling as the bulky package raises the shipping cost considrable .
You may buy only the cover and fill them locally.

I think $53 for shipping 4 large BB is pretty reasonable.

I logged in to your account and see that you were presented with two shipping options. One for $47.54 (23.77 EA) and one for $53.54 (26.77 EA). This amount is not an inflated price, but actual cost to ship our oversized boxes. Our products can’t vacuumed down as our beads are closed cell, which doesn’t allow water to absorb, but in the same aspect doesn’t hold any air that can be sucked out. I can guarantee that if you walked in to a Fed Ex store and tried to ship our same size box to us the cost to you would be over $90 via Ground. We get very good rates, and pass these rates on to our customers directly without inflation.

The closest dealers I have to you is in Fulton Texas, and Pensacola, FL. They both stock a nice variety of products. However, looking at your cart, none of my dealers will stock the MTL with Black centers and colors sides as this color combination will make the center extremely hot to sit on. I would recommend swapping the colors to keep the seating area cool. The dealers will sell the product for MSRP. Which is the product price on the website plus shipping. They have to pay shipping to get the products also and do not want to absorb that cost as it reduces their profit margin.

As far as Amazon goes, the price for shipping is included in the product price. For example on our site the Medium Teardrop sells for $104.95 plus shipping, and Amazon sells the product for $124.95. Meaning the price difference is only a few dollars, and customers are still paying a shipping cost.

When ordering directly through us we also offer all THT members a 10% discount. So for your purchase, you would save an additional $23.99.

I wish that I could ship all my products for free, or for a very minimal fee, but due to the size its just not possible. But we do our absolute best to keep our rates as low as possible and offer any saving we can whenever possible to assist with the costs.

I hope this helps you make an informed decision on your purchase. If you wish to proceed with the items in your cart, please call me to take advantage of the discount code. Or a list of the dealers closest to you.

Thanks,
Bridget

I do like the idea of having a color on a cushion that doesn't burn you when you sit on it.

I also agree that the 53 bucks for shipping such a large package sounds reasonable.

Our "friends" from UPS and FedEx went to "dimensional weights" a few years ago. Take the volume of the box in cubic inches and divide by 139 to determine the DIM WT

Stop bitching and pay the woman for a quality product. They aren't jacking you for extra shipping costs.

Why would you post this on the forum instead of reaching out to the company? Not cool dude.

People have no concept of what actual shipping costs are. "I looked at my Amazon account and Prime.... blah blah blah"... Do people realize that "free shipping" is not free? It is called shipping included. I say raise the price of the bags $25 each and offer free shipping. Unfortunately, that is what we had to do years ago in our ecommerce business. People getting charged more but feel much better because they are getting something for free. Retail rates are absolutely ridiculous with the volumetric shipping calculations. At least we negotiated a 240 dim divisor instead of the standard 139. Also, use a little class and stop whining to get your way. I am sure that if you picked up the phone they would have explained that to you.

C'mon guys. First off, I did order two bags plus shipping (Transaction: 0JW55294TH143621L). I have bought and sold rods/reels/tackle/etc on this forum and others like this for years. This forum like others in one of many channels that companies have at their disposal today to sell their products and services including open forums for customer feedback, questions, reviews, etc. Some of those channels negotiate with product manufacturers on their price to stock their product and offer incentives (a la Amazon) to move their products. Not being a shipping expert however purchasing and shipping bulky items before, the price seemed high. No implication of "jacking up the price" just an observation that in comparison to the cost of the product it seemed high which is why I asked for alternative places in TX or FL I could pick these up at in person.

@DealMan and others experts on here know that first hand from this forum. This is a sponsored forum channel for E-Searider which is a place to ask questions, buy products, share reviews, etc. My question was in this forum which is moderated by the product manufacturer and I got a response from the product manufacturer. That response led to me purchasing their products, just like this channel was designed to do. @r_ventura_23 and @
steelcityfishanddive no bitching or whining here, just a guy using the tool to buy the product. Easy to sit back online and talk smack on these forums.

How about $42.98 for a 2 items weight less than 3.5lbs box size 3"x6"x12" I needed it I bought it seller has no choice but to pay UPS FED X ect. I felt it could have been shipped USPS cheaper but I paid the price $52 for 2 large boxes not to bad. I am not bashing the OP just putting it out there for others to see.

Just pay it. I bought one for my 7 yrs old daughter. It sits in the living room. I have had several bean bags. The quaility alone it worth it. And you do not want to fil it yoursself. You wont have the same quality of foam beads that searider uses. And I bought mine of the website and didnt get a discount. Just pull the trigger and buy them youlll never regret it! Plus you can get it in a custom color! I'll have to take a pic of the one I bought. My daughter picked it out herself.
