Worst = St Thomas , not because of the beauty, but because of the rude locals.
Liked = Cayman Islands

Our favorite is Sint Marteen (Dutch side), worst is Jamaica.

Honorable mention is Bonaire - but only if you’re a scuba diver. Other than diving, the island would get old pretty quickly.

We spent a week in St Maarten and had a blast! Bombed all over the island in the rental car. Did a day trip over to Anguilla and had a blast at probably the best beach bar ever, The Sunset Bar & Grill right next to the runway! Phillipsburg is on the Dutch side and the cruise ships pull in there. Lots of shops if you want more crap.

They have a surf board stuck in the ground with the arrival times of the incoming flights. I doubt you can see this anywhere else on the planet!

Jamaica. Spent many airline layovers there. A Dump. Went to a Resort with the Boss (she was on a biz trip but this 'resort' was the safest hotel around) in 2005. They told us to not go past the gate.

Just did a Cruise to the western Caribbean with four stops. Not impressed. Hot and dusty.

Maybe check out Marsh Harbour in the Abacos, Bahamas. We like that place a lot. Nice people, some good places to stay, good water taxis to visit other islands, lots of non-stop flights so it's easy to get to.

In 1993, we did a hilarious Windjammer Barefoot Cruise throughout the BVI! Gorgeous islands and waters.

I like the sign on the fence that warns of "death" from the jet blast! When the jets take off, most hold the brakes and spool the engines up to Full Power and then let off the brakes. Some idiots will hold onto the fence and just get blasted!! Some can't hold on and that's not pretty! YouTube it!

Okay, if anyone IS interested in a visit to St Maarten/St Martin, here is a-----> loooong but photo filled Report that I posted on another Forum from our fun visit in 2014.

Turks has the nicest water and beaches. Aruba great nightlife, DR is a dump, Jamaica not far behind. paradise Island expensive but great for kids, plus casinos for adults, st Thomas some great beaches and quiet spots, St Kits very relaxing, Barbados some great drinking holes. We have been to most of them in the Caribbean. That being said we are in no rush to get back to any of them. Cabo is our only vacation spot now and in the foreseeable future... best overall for us and here is why. Best combo of fishing, food, nightlife, daytime activities and overall value. It’s as safe or unsafe as any of them. The locals are friendly, plenty of Americans, it’s our home away from home. Easy to get in and out, weather is always great....I could go on and on.....

I think they both suck, but Aruba would get my vote for worst. I've never been to Jamaica except via cruise ship a couple of times, but I hear the all inclusive resorts are nice. I felt like I needed a gun when I was walking down the streets there.

Resorts won't change anything about the heat, wind, and beaches where Aruba is concerned, at least from the standpoint of being sandblasted with wind driven, coarse sand. Been there once and stayed a week, and that was about 5 days too long. How women can stand to lay topless on that beach amazed me. At least I got to see the Natural Bridge before it got sandblasted into the ocean!

Turks & Caicos is nice, as long as you stay in the nicer areas. It's pretty scary when you get off the beaten path, but that pretty much sums up most of the islands. Grand Cayman is still my favorite. It's super clean, and that water is something you just can't find anywhere else. Then again, TCI's are as far east as I've gone.

I know it's not Caribbean, but if you want a warmer weather island, I don't think you can beat Bermuda. People are nice and I never felt like I needed to watch my back. Always felt safe there. Can't say the same for most Caribbean islands

Turks is by far the best I’ve been to...beaches, water, people, safe, food, etc. Now that being said, very little to do but chill; which by the way is just fine with me!

Worst, though I know there are far worse....St. Thomas! Beautiful island that’s rundown & natives suck!

In between....Bermuda is nice but pricey, plus watch the weather!
I liked Aruba in my younger days! Lots to do, great nightlife, decent but crowded beaches.

Been to quite a few places in the Caribbean. By far the best place was Rendevous Bay in Anguilla. Loved every minute there. Good food, friendly folk and beautiful beach. Not much to do if you want nightlife, at least when I was there. Might have changed. Did get to hang out with Bankie Banks for an evening though. Second favorite was St. Lucia.
I did not care for Aruba. Nothing really bad to say other than it was very commercialized.. like going to Destin or Daytona.

You were in St. Kitts but did you get over to Nevis? If not, close but no cigar.
