Default One of those funny moments

It's one of those moments you had to be there. But I'll share anyway.

Picture the fear in their eyes... At a red light, 3 or 4 cars deep in both lanes. I take off and bounce the rev limiter 1 bounce right as I make the 1 2 shift. Not on purpose, I was holding my wife's frosty from spilling and I will never be able to do that again like that. It made one hellva pop through the exhaust that scared the living shit out of the driver of the Ford Focus next to me as I went around her to where she took both hands off the wheel as she looked over, screaming. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so dam hard. Still laughing ..... I'm such an ass....

So you’re hitting the rev limiter to pull even with a Focus?

I think this is actually funny but I can't get the picture in my mind! You were racing another car, lost control of yours for a split second because of a drink, got it under control but not before scaring the crap out of the lady next to you in the focus. Yes/no?
Did time seem to stop for a split second while her bug eye's where focused straight at you?

We used to do that with ford pick up work trucks that we used back in the late 70's. Go down the highway at 70 +/- mph and pull just ahead of somebody on our exhaust side and shut the ignition key off, wait a couple sec's and turn it back on again and the back fire sounded like a 12 gauge going off. One lady actually layed across the seat and jumped back up laughing and giving us a thumbs up. The thing is it would turn the muffler into a foot ball and wouldn't last the season.

Funny stuff. Reminded me of a time I pulled up to a light (third back from light) and the woman in front of me had about 2 or 3 car lengths open space in front of her. I sat there a moment but she was not pulling up to the back of the first car. So, I swung over in the left turn lane and went around her. Slid right into the open space in front of her just fine. As I pulled around her I looked over at her and she had that bug-eyed, mouth breather look. Once in front of her, I looked in my rear-view and man was she pi$$ed !! She was alone in her car but she was squawking away back there. lol - still makes me chuckle
