I had a Pioneer “Supertuner” in my VW Rabbit and Lita’s cassette tape “LITA” was always in the que “Kiss Me Deadly & “Close My Eyes” got played a few times each way. Steak biscuits from McDs in the morning, my buddy was a redneck from “Niceville” FL, he turned me on to “Fried Mullet” we’d grab some of that occasionally on the way home.

Good times, wish I was smart enough back then to appreciate how much fun we were having even if I was only making $1300 a MONTH.

Some good deja vu, I was in VF-74 at Oceana in '88 and scrambling hard for that first chevron. Didja ever know that most Navy chow halls also had to go breakfast biscuits in the morning? Talk about relief to an E-3 paycheck
