Cabelas has Winchester 9mm for $8.79 box of 50. Best "local" price I've ever seen

I think ammo prices have pretty much bottomed out. Besides mail in rebates, they have been pretty steady for the past year.

I have a a hard time resisting brass 9mm under 17 cpr shipped after taxes.

Same with steel .223 for anything under 19cpr.

Does not take into account rebates. Typically buy in 1000rd cases.

SGammo.com has been pretty hard to beat. Brownells was great until they started charging sales tax in NC.

I purchase all my ammo from Classic Firearms Not always the best price but usually close and great customer service.

From the looks of this thread this should be a sticky thread.

Now is the time to buy. Prices will be higher in October of next year.

Federal/American Eagle (and other brands, I believe) have good rebates through March. I just bought 420 rounds 5.56 Federal Green Tip for $118.99 after rebate (full price was $139.99 plus tax since I got it from PSA).

Everyone already knows about gun-deals.com - User-Submitted Gun & Ammunition Deals right?

I got these too but the rebate process was a hassle. How was your experience?
Stripper clip was nice too.

Is there a decoder ring for the abbreviations? Didn't see one.

I don't know about any of these sites, that's why I started the thread.

I've seen discussions on here regarding on-line ammo, but I always bought local so never really paid much attention to them. Now I'm looking to buy some bigger volumes, so I figured I'd ask for the latest and greatest deals.

Keep 'em coming, guys!

Go to www.ammoseek.com. They’ll show who’s got the best prices at the time.

guns.deals is a website and also a smartphone app that is a deal aggregator. Guns, ammo, optics, parts. etc.
Great place to follow.

But there is nothing wrong with posting deals here too.

Georgia Arms. They are mostly a one time re-load but I have never had one not go "bang". Prices aren't the cheapest but they are in the ballpark for quality stuff. Check out their "canned heat" deals.

If you hover over the abbreviations, it will tell you case, primer, and if the power is corrosive or not.

I usually go to the far right and click on "Total CPR" to sort by cost per round.

I've bought from palmetto before and would recommend them. They have good sales.

definitely a PIA online, but submitted it yesterday. Buddy bought some a while back and said rebate came in less than a month for him. We shall see. Stripper clips are nice as is the metal can. Can’t beat it for the $$$. May buy one more before end of month.
