Default Question For Fasion Snobs.

Going to a buddies outdoor wedding in Florida. Burgandy long sleeve dress shirt, black pants.

Wife kicked it to the curb. Said this isn't winter you need a spring light color outfit. I give up.Lol.

Anyonone have an opinion on this mundane subject?

Two big factors are your build / body style and the theme / location of the wedding.

Slim / fit / average dad bod is a lot different than Chris Farley bod and should dress appropriately.

Outdoor wedding at a posh hotel should dress different than a luau wedding on the beach.

Need more info.

They have to be leather flip flops though. It's a classy shindig.

THIS - but the "short-sleeved" version (ala Flawda style). I only where it when I'm drivin' the truck.

When I have a fav shirt like this, I KEEP the sleeves for special occasions.

Regards,

Outfit? OUTFIT? Real men don't have oufits.

Just do what I do. "Honey, what should I wear?" Then you (A) don't have to think about it and (B) earn Brownie points without even trying.

I'm more of a grammar snob. You should proofread more.

Fish-themed Hawaiian shirt and camo shorts FTW!

This is always the correct answer in this situation.

Take your wife to a Tommy Bahama outlet or store. She can pick it all out for you. Easy. If you’re lucky you may like what you got enough to wear it again.

Hello, seriously, keep it simple, classic and classy, nice ironed shirt (long sleave), no double cuffs if not wearing a suit or sports jacket, pale colours for warm climates, classic dress chinos or slacks and nicely polished shoes, brown for preference with pale colours, it will never date and cannot pigeonhole you in any way, hope this helps.

No Khakis to a wedding. Too casual.

When is wedding? Like next week? June?

Nobody wears those horrible colors even in winter.

I would do a light cotton or twill tan suit with a light blue or pastel shirt. No tie and casual loafers.

JCM 1420 and gfdriscoll like this.
