Default Parking at EWR AIRPORT?

Usually take Amtrak up and back from Delaware.

Going up is no problem, 7Pm train gets me in way before my 1am flight to Hong Kong on my way to Manila
I return the following Friday at 9:30 pm,last train leaves around 10PM from EWR and won't make it.

Was considering leaving my car up there for 9 days but have no idea where to park.
Looks to be $300.00 for 9 days at long term? Thus my question.
Plus I hate driving 3 hours after 25 + hours of travel.
Or take the train up and get a rental on the way back.

So used to taking the train but looks like I am stuck to drive.

May want to check SpotHero App - can find it on PC as well... I usually look a few days in advance and then again and book a few hours before I leave (I have only used it in NYC) no experience at EWR - but the application is excellent

Ouch $300?!

One way rental will be cheaper than parking and might be just as quick as getting to your parked car when you’re leaving the airport.

Check out The Parking Spot. The have three lots at EWR. the Valet lot at McClelllan is really convenient for 13/day,and their self park is around 70/week. TheParkingSpot.com

Two notes: Get a coupon and reservation from the website before you go, and make sure you get on the correct bus when you arrive back at the airport (busses look the same but only go to their own lot)

$11/day uncovered offsite airport parking in Atlanta. You should be able to find something comparable at your airport.

I have been using ABC Parking for years. They are 5 min from airport and usually around 7 dollars per day. The whizz you off to your terminal very quickly and when you return you call them at luggage return and usually there within 5-10 min. Sometimes there are coupons available

Definitely use an off-site, monitored lot.

I used to fly out of EWR on a weekly basis, and recall leaving at 6 am one Monday, and in the short-term lot by one of the terminals there was a car with smashed window and stripped dash, alarm going Wah-Wah-Wah- with nobody giving a damn. I came home on Friday and it was still there, alarm only barely moaning from a nearly dead battery...

Check hotels several miles away from the airport. Many offer paid parking spots and you can catch their shuttle to and from the airport.

I use the parking spot but usually Haines ave. I thought McClellan was all valet. Its mostly for business so i really dont think about the cost. If your flying United, the united magazine usually has 10% off coupons in the back.

For any long trips i just use a car service. Screq driving after a 24 hr flight

Use them all the time, shuttle is quick to the terminals and pick up shuttle is just as quick on the return.

Why not just stay in a hotel the night you get back so you don't have to drive 3 hours after that flight? Cheaper than 300, then you take the train back?

Last time I used Jiffy. I think it was $14/day. Quick shuttle. Fenced and manned 24/7.

Check out the park/stay/fly deals at the hotels. I've had early morning flights out of EWR and gone there the night before, stayed at the Hilton, used their shuttle to and from the airport. The room plus parking doesn't cost much more than a regular room. In your case you'd want to stay the night at the end of the trip, not the beginning, but I'm guessing that could be worked out.

It's located right near the Parking Spot McClellan lot.

They have a covered garage.

I've had great success with the "Parking Spot" at both PHL and EWR. What I like about the parking spot at PHL is the entire parking complex is now under roof. I've never waited more than 5 minutes for a shuttle, 10 minutes when I flew back from Seattle and landed at 2am due to a late flight
