Great Story!
Great to highlight there are honest and good people out there.

In a couple years, my plan is move up to 26 sailfish—please share your experiences and pictures.

Good luck with the boat and drive home and congratulations!

Congrats to you both, great to hear the positive! This is an example of why, after years of reading THT, I finally decided to actually join. I am not much of a "joiner" in anything, usually been disappointed. But this forum exemplifies the good side of boating, camaraderie and friendship, and although still a noob, I am proud to call myself a member.

I’m upgrading from the 216, it’s significantly bigger, and couldn’t imagine having a bigger boat, very pleased

A good story with happy ending.

I have the same boat. Let me know if you have any questions.

Now the next logical step is for your join the Sailfish Owners forum! Fishingredcat was a member.

I'm sure you are familiar with the balancer issues, do you know when they started using the new version of them? The owner wasn't 100% certain when but believed these motors might be safe.. These motors are 2008's with 430 hours.

I've never seen a boat with a aircraft type propeller over the outboard.

The boat is a 2008, but what is the manufacturer date on the motors?

I think in either case and unless the seller replaced the balancers they are not the latest iteration.
