Default Loudest, most bass, bluetooth portable speaker???

Tell me what you think. Have a buddy with the big blue party speaker and that sounds pretty good, but really want something that cranks and has alot of bass.

bass needs power, so i would imagine for a portable speakers it will be pretty limited.

I agree, but it’s amazing what they can do with compact packages nowadays. This unit will be plugged into a beach house kitchen island most of the time, so battery life doesn’t matter much.

I have limited experience. I was hearing good things about the UE Boom 2 (now a 3 is out) but for Xmas my wife bought me the JBL Flip 3. Sounds good, goes louder than I need it too but not loud enough while the boat is running. She actually bought me 2 of them and the cool thing is they link together and run off 1 source. So , you can spread the speakers out and cover the space better. I'm sure there are bigger and better but it works for my garage and back yard needs. Plenty loud on the boat while anchored at sandbar.

Damn that is it there. For a cheaper option of got the older model of this "ION" from costco. $199 and last a long time, loud. Not audiophile quality. Has wheels and a handle like carry on luggage.

If you're looking at that, check out Mackie Thump 12bst. That gives you bluetooth also and 1300 watts. It'll set you back $400 instead of $900. Can get it at Crutchfield.com

Or JBL Partybox 200.

Love the UE Roll 2, it even comes with a little flotation device to float around in the pool.

The UE Boom 2 and Megaboom are both cool too.

Great sound from all. It's amazing how much base you can get out of these little speakers.

The $300 Megaboom can now be had for $129. That's a steal!
