They told a guy that works for a "quality" manufacturer to GTFO of their display area at a recent boat show ! He was making them look bad .

That was Al from Action Craft ...

Proper torque spec is probably one ugga dugga, they took the old 'if it ain't tight it ain't right' too far. What was their response? Sucks to have to fix it but doesn't seem like too big of a job.

why would you go to court over an obvious factory defect? Name the manufacturer or STFU.

I’m not at all saying that. What I’m saying is if he is working on it at the very least it would be bad business practice to name a brand. If he is in fact a business and is working on it and blasts a brand he could in fact be sued.

I am at least sure the boat with the white splatter paint in the correct example photos is a gheenoe

The boat is a gheenoe. It looks like The OP is trying to advertise the backing plate he built for the bow eye.
