Buy almost any "walkers". I wear New Balance, have for decades. Add inserts if needed. I was wearing "dress boots" and had horrible foot pain from the plantar faciitis. Went to a doctor and he referred me to a guy at Foot Locker. I literally limped into the store and danced out (figuratively;-)

These guys have have a nice variety of shoes that have a changeable orthotic insert that fits your foot. They aren’t cheap, but aren’t really expensive, compared to most shoes..
They have men’s & women’s shoes, from slaps to dress, seem to be well made and fit well. I noticed an immediate change in foot pain that had previously left me hurting pretty bad. Apparently my last few pairs of shoes were causing problems that were killing my feet. Apparently the Sperry’s with the new liner don’t offer the same support the previous ones did. Abeo has a boat shoe too, that doesn’t look too bad, that I might try sometime.

I picked up my first pair around Christmas when they were having good sales. I was very surprised when the salesman told me I was about 1-1/2 sizes smaller than the shoes I've been wearing for the past
2-3 decades. I save the AEs for when I am exclusively in an office environment, and wear my Rockport's on days I can be between the office and construction job sites.
