Plantar Fasciitis will make your quality of life disengrate very quickly. I have had the surgery on both my feet with good success but with still a little pain. I wear New Balance 990 Running Shoes and Merrill Jungle Mocs the best I could find for comfort.

Xelero is the best I have found. I mostly wear athletic shoes during the day, but they make some dress shoes also.

cole haan grand evolutions are amazingly comfortable and durable. they make them in a bunch of styles including boots. the sole is the same material as nike react foam. i'll never own anything else since i switched to these last year. already have them in 3 different colors.

I wear Sketcher's loafers. On my second pair and they hold up pretty well and are very comfortable. I drive a desk most of the time but when I have to go on the jobsite, I wear GA Boot wellingtons.

These are amazingly nice I hear. Although may not be ‘meeting’ worthy.

Do you wear dress shoes or casual dress shoes to work?

thanks for the input guys - Im gonna give Keens another shot. I did own a pair a while back that seemed ok, maybe a tad heavy but thats not a big deal in the winter/fall. Recently got a pair of NB Walking shoes and they seem pretty comfy. Need more than one or two pairs of daily working shoes so all the suggestions are very helpful

cole haan has a nice sale going on right now. trust me you will not be disappointed. order the same size you'd wear in nike tennis / running shoes.
https://www.colehaan.com/mens-sale-grandseries

if you have a nordstrom rack nearby, then check there as well. they usually have cole haan grands on sale there too.

I prefer Keens. Bought my first and last pair of Merrells in December. No comparison.

Iím in construction management and used to wear Rockport XCS GoreTex. They were discontinued after about 10 years, so I switched to Vasque Breeze IIís. Both were really comfortable, waterproof (very important) and lasted over a year for me, which is really good for me. I do about 15,000 steps a day. Now the Vasque Breeze IIís are discontinued so I just ordered a pair of the Vasque Talus Trek. Get them Friday.

Couple of people have said it already. I love my Skechers. In the office I wear all black ones. Theyre lightweight and foam cushioned. In the field or shop I wear Ariat or Keen boots.
