Your options are limited and simple. Cut a hatch above the bar door that swings open. You have one door right now. You’ll have 2 after. If you have tons of cash, jack the barn up 6 inches.

You can prob again 2 inches by removing the ac shroud.

If doors are on a track I thing could rerig the rollers and reinforce the header then cut a notch that works like a door or a rubber flap setup. I would likely make a signage I could raise or lower for asthetics.

Best is raise the header 5.5 inches, trim metal. Add 5.5 inches to bottom of doors. Trim with nice aluminum and remount doors.

might get me thru but pain in the ass with hubcaps and sensors. One viable option may be to load the receiver hitch with weight. A large poly tank filled with water may do it but looking at all options. Once I clear the door frame I have plenty of room. Front ac clears by 1” and the rear doesn’t because of the rake. I did fill up the fuel tank which is aft of the rear axle. Open to all ideas.. good news is that the Contender clears by 3”’s..

Its 2019, where are the pics??

Most sites using IB are having problems with this, Use the photo icon instead until it's fixed. Two other sites I frequent are expecting changes soon.

From IB:
Quick update - the IB tech team is currently working on rolling out an update on photo uploading for all our sites. This will tackle the surface issue with the manage attachments button, so that should be fixed in the next few weeks or so.

In the meantime, can you ask the users having issues with the uploader how many photos they are uploading at once? Another problem could be stemming from the fact the the reason why the photo uploader button works better than the manage attachments button is that the photo uploader button allows one photo to be uploaded at a time.

The door guy is telling be that the spring on the conventional overhead door is the limiting factor and why I can't notch for the AC. The door itself will clear once its fully horizontal. - lets think out side the box.. what if I did away with the whole spring mechanism and used a 12V ATV type winch to pull the door up ( through a pulley system)and also control the door on the way down. I figure the only place it would bind would be when the door is all the way down and mostly vert. I could remedy this by not going all the way down so that the top panel has already started to break-over. I could add a 2x6 at the bottom as a filler piece? This will not be a daily open and close stall - maybe monthly.. All the other options stated have be explored except cut concrete and I don't know how much thickness there is to cut?

What type of cover or shroud is on the AC unit? If removed will it give you the room needed to clear?

If so, then it should be easy to modify the fasteners on it to something you can easily take on and off.

I take it your motor home does not have air ride suspension that you can dump.

no air-ride - gasser on leafs. Not enough room for a roll-up. - I could pull off the entire overhead door and put in barn doors - hoping for an easier solution but this will be my last option. The barn is 60x80 and has 2x12' doors upfront and 3x12' roll-up types out back. no Girley shed here..LOL

If you're lucky, there's 2.5" of dead clearance inside that shroud... If so, chop it like a hot-rod top...!!!

If not... cut channels in the concrete for the rear wheels as already stated... ramped back up to original floor level far enough back for the a/c to clear then you're in like flynn.

Can't really tell from the pics, but you say the overhead spring is the limiting factor. Can you switch to springs on the sides? That's how my parent's garage door was set up back in the day.
