That's a very friendly bald eagle hahaha. He didn't even want to stab the guy's arm with those massive talons when he was trying to get the bird to jump on his arm.

They're so abundant in Alaska that they don't fear man much anymore, especially when it was letting him pet it's back like a dog LOL.

As cool as that is, there is an inherent danger in these wild birds losing they're fear of man, though. Next guy might not be as nice to it as this guy.

That's pretty cool the Eagles around our house take off the minute I try to sneak out for a pic. They are probably 200 or more feet away but they can hear my sliding the door open very slowly.

Maybe Benjamin Franklin had it right from the start? This isn't the behavior of a hunter warrior who deserves to be the national symbol of the great United States of America!?

That was the behavior of a scavenging runt if I've ever seen one! Maybe Benny was onto something and they should've listened to him and chose the wild turkey as the symbol of this great country, not this scavenging thief? Wild turkey is proud, strong and territorial and would never behave like this.

we spotted 1 bald eagle in Alaska's interior and it was majestic as it cruised through the air

we get to the coast and 20 of them are hanging at the boat launch waiting for scraps

Eagles are not much trouble, every once in a while they will snatch up a cat or small dog .
Ravens get into everything.
Friend of mine took this video.
