I see many older 911's. Great vehicles. You are right probably not a good example!!

I rode in a 911 Targa back in 1974. The kid was blowing into a 270 degree on ramp at 25-30 mph faster than I thought the vehicle could make it in. I screamed NOOOO! Kid actually put his foot down and the car blasted thru the turn in classic 911 style, with the inside from wheel lifting off the ground. My comments afterwards "I'm never racing a 911 again"

2004 Sequoia with 120,000 miles. Did the timing belt and exhaust manifolds at 85000. I did the exhaust system this year. Other that those items just normal maintenance. Been the most reliable car I have ever owned besides my wife’s Subaru.

I just bought mine last summer. Only had 124,000 Kms on it. Never driven in the winter and stored in a heated garage. Previous owner was only selling it because he just bought a 2017 911. He actually turned down a couple of full priced offers because in his own words "they were not the type of guys that should own a Porsche" One was a young guy that wanted to turn it into a ricer.
Since I bought it I use it as my daily drive in the summer, its sitting in my garage over the winter right now. It is a very fun car to drive and I do drive it the way it the way it was meant to be driven.

I have owned a lot of vehicles but never owned one that wasn't one of the big 3. Must have been something that my dad trained me growing up, he never owned a foreign vehicle either. I know, I know about where vehicles are made now but I always think of a foreign vehicle as anyone that it's one of the big 3....or Jeep.
