And just like that we have another target ...... going to see if he establishes a feeding pattern that takes into consideration my sleeping preference.

I was kind of afraid to click on this thread. With some of the things yall post I didn't know what to expect. The best way to deal with hogs depends on your location and the population of the hogs in the area. I've seen single hog traps work to catch one hog but the rest of the sounder runs off and is smarter next time. I've shot a lot on my farms and have just about eradicated them. We get one on a camera once in a while. The best and most expensive way to deal with them is to either hire pros or put in a remote drop door trap, put out some cameras, do your intel and trap them all when they get in the pen. It may take a month or more to get all of them inside the pen at once but you'll get all of them. I've talked with and sat through a couple of presentations by these guys and they've got it down to a science.

Back in the day, we used to hog once a month on Thursday nights.
They were some fun rides.

Thank god we didn't have cell phone pics back then.

Same as pig you get at store
The fat is softer and more liquid
Build a pen from fencing to trap them....not a cage
of course you got to shoot them then

Once you kill one, you wont get another in that cage or spot.

Or you can use snares
Cage can be winched onto trailer with hog in it

Check out Jeff Barron's channel - he builds some effective traps. You might get a good build idea.

I am good until 9:30ish .....prefer a pre 8:30 PM shooting. I'll have him trained in no time at all. You are correct, I am a baby.

Tonight...
