He and I exchanged a few PM's over a disagreement, I gave him my address but don't think he offered his, other then him being up north of NJ I think that's all I've got. I'll go back and see if I saved the PM's.

Just looked up the PM's, no word from him as to where he lived, no e-mail or anything. I'm sure a mod has access to his e-mail but it's up to them if they think it serious enough to get involved.

The name "Jersus" came from a thread in the bilge that I remember from back when some of us spent way too much time there. Somebody was going off on religion and misspelled Jesus.....Jersus. Hence, everyone started making fun of said poster and kept repeating Jersus. I think it was on that very thread that our very own Jersus appeared. Hence, he was likely another poster and likely still is IMO.

Not sure about the post. I tend to agree with bobeast on this but I have been wrong before.

That would make sense. Went through the same thing and had to override their Advanced Directive; it sucks. But you have to tell yourself what you're doing is in their best interest.

If I remember the story right, he was listed under another name, but someone here posted his home address on a public forum, really a poor thing to do. In any event the now Jersus had his name changed but had to have the "Formally known as" in the details.

That is exactly how I read it. He's in charge of pulling the plug on someone but can't decide what to do.

Why did we need another thread discussing a thread that is active?

Never been more conflicted...
