Lots of good suggestions. Since no one mentioned breakfast, I'll suggest Parc (Rittenhouse Square). Make a reservation

Rittenhouse Square is a good area to stay also with a park and shopping

I'll second Boathouse Row if you are into rowing or have a connection to it

Across from the Hilton are the Camden waterfront, aquarium, and the Battleship New Jersey to add to your list.

I wish to thank those with meaningful responses. This gives us more than enough to figure out. You never see everything you plan, and always find something stands out that others don't care about.
Responses have been appreciated.

Get over it, they won. You've probably never even been to Philly.

What else to do and see? Where to stay. We are the richest people on earth, so money is never any object. (So says you know who...)
whenever my wife and I go we eat at Fork and I pre order the duck!
did it last month and I’m already looking forward to the next time.

+1 on Rittenhouse Square and the Parc Restaurant. Very good, and plenty of nice shops in the square. Safe there but of course always watch yourself in any big city.

Stay at a hotel on rittenhouse square. There are plenty of nice places and if you travel alot, cash in points at the Westin on 17th. There is plenty of great food, bars and shopping. You are 3 blocks from Wawa (I am from Delco).

Sites? Depends what you are into. That time of year you will have great trout fishing, giant drum on De bay, and spring stripers. If you like sports, do a double header of Phillies/Sixers. They are across the street from each other and you should be able to find dates to make it work.

Like all major cities, I wouldnt want to spend more than a long weekend looking at sites unless there is something you are into in that city. Even a resort town like Vegas I need to leave after 4 days. Sure there is plenty more to see, but I have seen enough.

You want to see what the city is about? Go to Italian market and see how non itialian it is now. Then go to Pats/Genos because you are tourist and they do taste great, just some in the city might be better. Then go around the corner to Rays Happy Birthday bar for a beer and a shot. Take a cab/uber down to italian market and then you can do it all on foot.

It is sad, yes...but.

Wow, That's all you got?

Note to OP, Don't bring your dog to Philly so this doesn't happen to you and don't dress like Santa.

Some serious Philly Haters.

Was Born and raised thank you !

There are a lot of nice places in Phllly as stated above from the many comments!

Matter of fact going in the city next weekend to celebrate my daughters 21st B Day at a Brazilian Steak House and see a show!

Take my wife in every 2 weeks to Jefferson Hospital.

Season Ticket holder for the Eagles.

Even though I moved to Delaware and bought a few acres, we spend a lot of time in the city!
Chose to live closer to 2 bays for fishing.

So to answer your question Yes, I have and continue too.

Come on down and I'll take you for a tour!

And Sorry we offended you when snowballs were thrown at Santa in the SIXTIES!
