I agree, once he picked it up he could have just 'dropped' it in the bag instead of the counter.

I would think it was already rung up if he was bagging it, so unless there was more pork coming down the line then he wouldn't need to pick any up.

The cashier (if they were aware of the issue) could have set it aside and bagged it separately though, to avoid the whole issue and appearance of an issue.

Seems odd. Probably Sunni or even one of the more strict sects. I am currently living in Bahrain. There are a few stores that sell pork. The butchers that handle the pork are non muslim. However once its wrapped, the Muslim checkout personnel have no issue handling it. I do have several Saudi, Bahraini, and other Middle eastern Muslim friends here that eat pork and drink alcohol.

And your point?
Curious to know how many non-Christians this pentecostal dude believed should die / be taxed simply due to not being a Christian?

Obviously you're biased, but is that any different than folks going to a concert or a football game?

Pretty sure people who skip out on a concert don't fear the threat of being smote.

My point is that most organized religions have illogical tenets (to others) that are based almost wholly on faith or doctrine. Christianity is no exception. Virgin birth? Hahaha! Sure, Mary. Whatever you say.

It has also had a long and inglorious history of crusades and "holy" wars. As do certain sects of the Muslim religion. Humans have been using the guise of religion for centuries to control or acquire land, power, resources, and people.

The time period is right now....not the 8th Century, or the 1st Century.
Again, tell me what religions (RIGHT NOW) condone of entirely eliminating other religions / taxing others simply because they are not of their religion / wholesale killing non-believers / executing those that leave the religion.

This guy is trying to work and adhere to his religions practices. He didnít just drop it and stand back doing nothing. He switched jobs with the cashier and did her job.
I have no problem with ones religious beliefs as long as you donít harm anyone else or force your beliefs unto others.
I donít care if your gay.
I donít care if you marry a trashcan .I do care if you try to get a trashcan benefits at anyone elseís expense.
I have enough of my own sheeet to worry about .

I was at Costco a few weeks ago and they had halal lambs in the cooler. I saw a guy that put a pork loin on top of the halal lambs...hehe.
