Default Eye sight after reading Hull Truth forum

Is it just me?
After spending a small time reading on this forum via my Samsung Note 8 my eye sight and focus is extremely poor for an hour or so!
I read articles all the time on my CNBC app and other sites all the time & my eyesight doesn't suffer. What is it about this site?
I have tried brighness settings but get same results.....

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Or perhaps it is the unbeatable law of unintended consequences.

This is a well-known problem. It is a symptom of having a boat that is 2' or more too short. Please advise your wife that you need a bigger boat to preserve your eyesight.

Its your focal point, your eyes get stuck focusing inches away from your screen and if you don’t look up and focus on something 10’ away every few minutes, well... then they are blurry till you can focus again.

It's due to the content. When you read the other sites, you don't stop and think to yourself "this is the dumbest post I have ever seen" and then reread to see how if it's even dumber than you thought. Also, on CNBC they usually spell words correctly, so you're not straining your eyesight while you try to figure out the words.

Like your, instead of you're...

Agreed. If you spend too much time looking at a screen that close, you need to keep looking away for a bit every 20 minutes or so.

Because you're looking at a small screen!!!!

Reminds me of my wife a little. She'll read shit on her phone, with a 9" screen ipad next to her, and a 15" screen laptop next to that!
