Default Blaze orange hat....

My deer hunting hat is coming apart and needs to be replaced. I have always worn what some people call a trooper hat or an aviator hat. I need something like this only in solid blaze orange (no camo orange). https://www.drakewaterfowl.com/colle...ur-aviator-hat
All I can find are the cheapo plastic ones like they have at WalMart. I don't really care what it cost the higher quality the better. Who can help me out?

This is the real deal and also I think what tnhntr posted as well:

https://www.yukonhats.com/alaskan-fur-hats

They carry some of them on Amazon. It's real deal rabbit fur. I have the Max-5 camo one for duck hunting. My only complaint is it's too warm. I wore it last season when it was in the low 20's. My head was sweating.

Just paint your hair Orange.

Then you can go to clubs and parties and blend in after hunting.

Dual purpose.

I have tried a couple and the flaps were kind of short. Do you have a particular recommendation for a good one?

mine is just the standard insulated Kromer. the flaps are a bit short but, I have to admit other than brutally cold weather I tend to not cover my ears much anyway.

wait there is another possibility. got mine at Farm and Fleet, I will have to go find the name. I use it when I got out to the field at work, very warm.

found it
https://www.farmandfleet.com/product...-in-1-hat.html

the black face mask area folds up inside the hat when you don't need it. I have had a few guys ask to borrow it when they were going out to the field. I have done 12 hour days at 12 degrees with blowing wind and been very comfy in that one.

Ears is the thing that really gets me. I can be out with folks who are fussing about their feet but my hands and ears are what bothers me the most. I may have to try the Carhartt. I have a ski hat like that (wrong color) and I have used on occasion and it works pretty well. Alabama has a goofy blaze orange rule. It is 144 sq-in unbroken visible from 360 degrees. Up until a few year ago that meant no orange camo, no hats with different color bills and no hats with logos. They changed the law and they allow a small logo now but they still gig you about a non orange bill. I have a big Parka that is my go to hunting coat. It is blaze camo and probably has close to 2000 sq -in and probably 1200 - 1400 net orange, but it does not meet the law.

This showed up on my screen as https://www.furhatworld.com/rabbit-f...ck-p-1267.html

I was expecting a pretty funny hat when I clicked on that link. I was disappointing that it was basically what he was asking for.
