I can stomach quite a bit, when it comes to crimes against children it really turns my stomach.

Awful that the mother who joined in got a deal. Guy won't make it 109 days, much less years. Prison systems handle things like this.

I have a 3 year old son and cannot use the terms to describe what I would do to this couple without being banned for life. My little man is so trusting and full of love and to betray that is truely evil. Sickening.

"Evan's father, Carlo Brewer, said he began seeking custody of his son after noticing signs that he had been abused, and authorities were alerted at least six times that Evan was being abused."

You can blame the bullshit system where fathers have no rights too. If it were my kid they'd both be dead and I'd be the one in jail.

My fiance's dad worked in corrections for a while. It still happens. Kind of a don't ask don't tell policy around it, but accidentally, someone 'forgets' to lock a door, someone goes for a smoke break at a convenient time etc...
