Sold my Harley Benton Tele on Thursday so I had a free space on the wall.
Nice! Be sure to post some pics...

I just supplemented my new setup with a mint condition Boss ME-70 pedal board. Was looking for something entry level and easy to understand, so far so good.

Got the same exact one. Only thing I don't like is the location on the pedal. Wish it was on the left side even though I'm right-handed, you have to extend your leg in front of it and it's a bit uncomfortable when you're standing and playing. If it was on the left side you can stand to the side and foot it normally without having to extend your leg forward and the whole panel in your way. Other than that, it's pretty good. I find it works much better with tube amps than transistors.

Congrats and welcome to the Tele club... you may want to check out the TDPRI forum (Telecaster Discussion Page Reissue), it's loaded with great info. It's kinda like THT for Tele owners.

I've posted my guitars on here too many times, so I won't do it again here. I'm up to 20 now... think I need an intervention.

I will share my Tele here though, because it's one of the most polarizing Fender finishes ever produced... you either love it or you love to hate it.

Congrats again... twang on, brother.

Is that Antigua? Looks less green and a little more gray than others I've seen. Like it.

You're not gonna get it from any of us here, my friend. I can guarantee you that LOL!

I'm right up there with you, and soon to be adding to it.

And post a pic of the collection again anyway, who cares? Some of us haven't seen it and would love to!

I love the color.

But to me, the last thing that matters is color. How it sounds and how it plays is what it's all about.

Yup, it's Antigua... its an FSR (Fender Special Run). A guitarist from an old band from Boston had an Antigua Strat back in the day and I always loved it. When I started looking for a Tele, this one popped up so I jumped on it. It was posted on Reverb for just 45 minutes.

As for my collection, this thread is about Polarred's killer new Tele. This is his thread, and congrats again on his NGD, it's a beauty.

There are a bunch of older threads with my pics hanging around here. Maybe I will take new shots this weekend for a new/different thread. Lots of new guitars since my last post.

I was born and raised in Southern Maryland (native SMIB) and one of our local heroes was none other than Danny Gatton. He lived 10 miles or so from where we lived and played all of the local clubs, restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, hotels, etc. This guy had incredible talent and was a master of the Tele. Unfortunately, like to many of these guys with real talent, he took his own life in the mid-90's.

My next guitar will hopefully be a Danny Gatton custom shop signature edition Tele.

I changed the title Chuck and would be glad for you to post up anything here. Most of the guitar people are already here.

Play on guys!

That apple red is amazing. Even more amazing is how it held up for 50 years. A collectible Telecaster from 1968 is pretty awesome. Older than my bro's by 5 years.
But honestly, I like your new one a tad bit better.

By request...

Here's my weird collection... I have some gems, and some oddballs, which is what I seem to be drawn to these days. I'm in the process of remodeling the room and hanging all of the guitars, so excuse the partially bare walls. They have been freshly painted. Artwork is on the floor waiting to be hung.

Here goes:

Tried to get one overall shot, but it's hard because it's a fairly small room. One of the gems is that 2007 Martin D-28 12-string. It's the voice of angels:

The prize of the collection is the 1965 Vox AC-30 Super Twin Reverb with Top Boost and full chrome trolley. It's kinda the Holy Grail of amps. On the left is a 2K-ish Cambridge Twin Reverb and on the right is a mid-2K AC-15 (my main amp):

Basses - Squier Modified Jag Bass in Black, Epi Thunderbird in Pelham Blue, '91 Charvel Surfcaster bass in FireGlo finish, Steinberger in None More Black...

My other gems - 1989 Rickenbacker 360-6 in MapleGlo/Black, 2008 Rickenbacker 330-12 in FireGlo... both signed by Johnny Marr:

2008 GRB Kokocaster in Greenburst (center), 1989 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe (behind), 2000 Yamaha SGV300 in green (right), 90s Epi Korina Explorer (left). The Antigua Tele is in the multi-rack, but you've seen that before. The cherry Yamaha acoustic in the back is my daily player:

A gaggle of surprisingly good Squiers that I've held onto because they're players - Seafoam Green Bullet Strat, two Squier 51s (black is modded, sunburst is stock), a Mini, and a limited run Champagne Sparkle, which is an absolute banger of a guitar... one of my favorite daily players:

I have a few other amps and a slew of pedals, but this post is long enough already... OK, who's next to show theirs??

wow that is a very nice collection.

so have to ask, what is it about the VOX amps that makes them so desirable? I have never played through one but seems most people want one.....or three. I mean obviously your's arent' off the shelf from GC but ti does seem as though folks still want even the new ones.

I must say you guys make me feel better about my addiction.
