That is a nice piece. My daughter asked for her first guitar this Christmas. She plays a lot of instruments I would love to buy her something like this someday. Enjoy

Very nice! I have the Epiphone version.

Yes that's a Yellowfin here. Anything that says Gibson on the headstock.

Thanks for the compliments! My feet just hovered above the ground most of yesterday LOL I played it til' about midnight last night.
As for the woodshed it is still under construction. Hurricane Florence caused me to have to work on my trailer ( that's for RussH ) at the coast . At least I'm thru with the demolition and back to construction on it. I'm going down sometime this coming week to hang drywall and try to locate someone to recover the hall and L/R floor. Kinda taking up my play funds for the woodshed though.
Oh well It'll all come together if I just keep plugging away at it.

It's hanging by the headstock;? I guess that the hanger blends in pretty well with the headstock.

All ready do !! I have a 2000 year model Standard that weighs 11.5 lbs. It has a great sound and neck shape but after awhile it is really a chunk to sit and play. This new one is weight relieved and is very well balanced on my lap. I'm lazy, I like to sit to play. LOL

Don't wish it man make it happen. Have you ever watched those guys Bea and Matt on you tube that have a show called "Sound like famous guitarist without breaking the bank." They show you what peddles, amp etc to buy to get you sound that you're looking for. Come on make it happen in the new year man!!

I hear ya bro! I have decided to get a lot more serious with my playing . I have dabbled all my life with guitar, taking it in spells so to speak. I made a life change a couple of months ago that has helped me to stay more focused on things. Also feel a lot better physically too.
I had my annual physical and my liver enzymes were "slightly" elevated. Sam Adams has a way of doing that to ya' . So I stopped drinking on Oct. 14 . I had 3 Sammy's at the beach and told my wife that I'm done for awhile, if not forever. Came home and threw 10 outa the fridge into the garbage and haven't looked back. I do consume a lot more coffee these days though . I believe it was more of habit than it was the actual beer.
New test at the doc said I was as healthy as a 25 year old.....not sure about that but my blood pressure is around 125/75 now as opposed to 142ish/93ish.

Have to say I don't really miss it. I wouldn't drive after consumption so once I got home from work I was basically grounded if I grabbed a Sammy. This made it hard to accomplish task that needed to be done that would involve going somewhere to get something.
That took a weird turn huh? LOL
