This is the first burial of a president that I remember in my lifetime. I had no idea it was such a drawn out event.

It's called paying respect! To a great man, not an event.

Beautiful 2 days of respect for him and family. Through all the waiting and standing, the soldiers never moved a hair on either day. I could stand that still for about 1 minute before swaying, itchy nose or something. All the folks pulling over on the highways for motorcade going to train and then for the train...

George Bush was not just a president. He was also a war hero that dedicated his life to our country. You can agree or disagree with his politics and his methods, but no one can say he did not dedicate his life to our country.

Never asked you to and wouldn't want it from ya!
As for Spraynet, AMD is a waste of money to if you don't play it right.

That whole story in that link is pretty amazing.
So much of his memorial had to be prepared for, and planned years ago.

RIP GHWB. Prayers for the family. I did not agree with all that he did as President, but he lived an amazing life of service.

As usual, most ALL of you have some poor reading skills, and comprehension issues!

I respect the man greatly for his service to this country, a real hero in that regard. He was IMO a poor president and got the US deeper in bed with a known terrorist country....Saudi Arabia.

He was also very found of himself. One of my brothers had his duty for two years. Much like Trump has, but to a much lesser degree but definitely there.

I guess you all don't mind spending millions upon millions of tax payer money for what should be a much simpler funeral.

I'm ok with being the smallest of minorities on subjects, just means I ok with calling things like I see them. Can't bother with what others think.

Please, please watch the attacks. I truly don't like to see folks going to camp over me, THAT does bother me!

You truly want to go off on me...."pm" me and I'll give you my email address.

Train route is a couple miles from our place. Went out and watch and was blown away by everyone that came out. Hundreds of people were out in a very remote part of the trip. One guy from Georgia drove in for it
