Grew up less than 1/4 mile from his estate, Dad got into a group playing golf with him regularly a while back. He's a hell of a golfer. He's very much an actor.... and an absolutely hilarious one. My Dad played with him for months before I explained how raunchy the guy is. I finally showed him some youtube videos and he was floored. He said "if you'd asked me if he's an evangelical preacher or stands in front of people and talks about dicks, titties, and beer.... I'd have guessed preacher all day long."

God I love him. I have seen him live before. I have laughed so hard over him that I have given myself a headache. His divorce took a toll on him unfortunately.

He's quite a bit more portly these days than he was 5 years ago.

It did. Used to see him at the local bars with girls 20 years his junior. He just looked tired....

Listen to the "Titities and beer" channel on Pandora and you will hear a bunch from him.

He's actually a pretty good singer and song writer. I will always fondly remember him for such timeless classics as "Grandma's Seen a Lot of Dick in Her Days."

My wife used to LOVE his TV show....and we've been to see him live. The guy is freakin hilarious! Sucks that his divorce changed him like it did (suppose it would effect me badly too).

I have seen him perform once since his divorce. He was still funny, but the residual sadness and bitterness permeated some of his routine.

Whoooooo BOY !

That was a good video !

Thanks, OP, never heard of that cat but that's good stuff right there !

Here is another great talent along the same lines, Scuzz Twittly singing "Keep Yer Hands Off My PBR".

I had an ol' ranch truck just like the one in the video .... dang I miss that truck.

Cheers (a cold PBR), T.

I've seen him live twice and it was awesome both times. He is actually a really talented musician he just uses his gift for evil instead of good. His Toby Kieth story on one of the standup albums is some of the funniest shit I have ever heard regardless of how many times I listen to it.

Just saw him in July. Poor bastard looked sad as hell. Divorced and fat.

Great story:

Used to listen to him all the time, he could make me laugh like no other.

A couple of years ago buddy sends out group text for our poker game. We usually play at once a month. I show up a little late, buy in and sit at the table. Buddy introduces me to Rodney Carrington. First thought was, damn his look changed... I didn't even remotely notice him. It was a fun night but, wasn't what you would think. I thought I'd be pissing myself from laughter. Not that he was doing a stand-up or anything but it just seemed like someone took the pep out of him.

I will say he was just a normal nice down to earth guy.
