The question is which team won’t pick him up? The NFL is full of shit bags like this, you only see less than 1% because the other 99% is swept under the rug. Double standards, “he’s a good boy”, “needs a second chance”.. I call BS, a zebra can’t change its stripes. But Americans in general suffer from short-term memory loss so he will be on a team next week with a bunch of mindless, drunken fans cheering him on. It wouldn’t hurt my feeling if the whole leave was dissolved, I got better things to do.

So the same team that drafted Tyreek Hill has cut Kareem Hunt?

I thought the NFL banned him from playing? That would exclude any team from playing him.

"he learned from the incident"

Yeah right. I'm sure he's now a man.

It's sad because there are plenty of good men in the NFL but it's greatly overshadowed by the lowlifes.

they put him on the exempt list, which means he could not play, practice, or be around the team.

However on the exempt list he still was a chief and still getting paid.

Bu cutting him he is no longer a chief, not getting paid, and for the time not even an nfl player.

I wonder what the split is between KC fans that are glad he's gone vs. those that think the NFL has screwed the team?

a good friend of mine mine lived in kc. Says they are very divided on the release (nobody feels the nfl screwed them). Half say he should get a second chance and half support the release. Those saying give him a second chance are pointing to the chiefs double standard in how they handled tyreek hill.

If it had been a college fellow a year or two younger from one of the big and popular football teams, we would be falling all over each other on this board to forgive and give him another chance.

I don't think anyone would pick him up and pay him until the NFL finishes its investigation. After that is figured out and suspension handed down, a lot of people will play the "We hope to give him a second chance and help him turn his life around." card.

Calling someone the N-word as got to have some consequences, not defending Hunt but how about the Woman's part in this, there are lines in life, when one crosses them there will be reactions.

If she in fact did, and I'm mixed there too.. If you want the word removed from the vocabulary you have to stop using it yourself.

Why does using the n word have to have consequences? I see black people call each other the n word all the time. Heck you ever listen to rap music?

seems the n word is one of those things that has selective outrage against its use.

It wasn't nearly as bad as Joe Mixon punching that girl in the face in college and he still got drafted. Really crappy video that described Hunt as kicking a woman while down i was expecting much worse from the sound of things. Anyway i'm sure he will play for the Jets next year.
