Default Best concert you ever attended in person and can remember...

Thought this might make an interesting topic.

Anyone care to share their favorite concert memory?

Seen quite a few good ones...but, to be honest, the most recent two I have been to, have probably been the best...maybe because I am older and can just sit and enjoy them.

2018 - The Eagles.
2017 - Elton John.

Metallica had the best live show that I have seen, but I am not a huge concert attendee.

I've seen a bunch, many of which I can't remember

Like Fatherof4, it was a recent one.

2018 U2 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Awesome show, Lots of great music. What's crazy is that I saw them at the local Jai Lai Fronton back in 1981 when they were just getting started.

August 21, 1994. Bicentennial Park, Miami, Fl. Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Fight, and Candlebox. It was a hot and dusty mosh pit all afternoon. Finally, the opening acts were all finished and I made my way towards the stage.
At about 7:30pm, everything was coming together. Behind me, to the south, were thousands of crazed fans becoming rowdier by the minute. To the west, the sun was setting, painting the clouds pink against the blue sky canvas. Simultaneously, to the east, the full moon was rising into a clear and starry night. To the north, just as the mushrooms were kicking in, the stage lights went dark and Ennio Morricone's The Ecstasy of Gold began to play. My twenty year old self stood in awe and amazement. The anticipation was intense. Then, on the last date of a 51 show tour, Metallica took the stage.
They left it all on the stage that night. For almost three hours, they gave what had to be the best performance of their career. They played with effortless power as a tight, disciplined unit. It was truly something to behold and a day I will never forget.

Best band I ever saw was Little Feat about 6 months before Lowell George died. They killed it.
4th row The Who on 1980 - but Keith was dead then.
8th row CS&N in 1977.
Last time I saw Tom Petty - 2016 IIRC.
