The little band from Amsterdam...Golden Earring had two of my favorites...Radar Love and Twilight Zone

Bob Seeger had a few as well. All time favorite song is Turn the Page

Fogarty and Creedence kicked butt with many songs. Their take of Heard it Through the Grapevine was classic.

I dunno...when I pull up the list of the songs of the summer of 1966, I have to say there are some that I still play today..Supremes, Johnny River, Lovin Spoonful, the Beatles and the Rollin Stones, Association, Rightous Brothers, Four Tops and on and on..

The We Five...You Were on my Mind was another 45 I wore out..

Some of these are early 70's..but all the same era

Lots of good stuff from my teens for sure...

One of my all time favorite albums is Tommy.

1969 by Iggy Pop and The Stooges (which was released in 1969) is a great song too.

? and the Mysterians, 96 tears

So many. Pretty much the top 100 songs from 1964 thru 1969.
Listened to this more than any other.

What always amazes me is how young they were when making what became classics of our generation. The old Creedence, Eric Burden, Procol Harem, Cream, etc. on YouTube are great entertainment.

I like many of the above, especially any Rolling Stones songs; but also add Rare Earth (Get Ready) long version to the list
