Default As much fun as watching drivers at boat ramp!

My friend owns an old-fashioned service station. Sells gas, has two garage bays, changes oil, fixes tires, sells beer & cigarettes. I stop in a few times a week and hang out to BS with him for 15-20 minutes. Recently, a medical marijuana clinic opened-up across the street. Their business is booming. It is comical watching their customers trying to get their cars in and out of the parking lot. Stoners on Parade! I think they should have to forfeit their driver's license to get their MM card.

Boomers and their nonsense.

I think you are distorting reality to conform to your views on the devils lettuce. I doubt its comical, or anything out of the ordinary compared to a regular pharmacy.

Furthermore, based on your logic above, everyone who consumes alcohol should also forfeit their drivers license.

I would rather be on the road with vehicles operated by potheads over drunks, all day, everyday.

Why? Do you have to forfeit your license to drink booze?

Your friend oughta setup a snack station or sell tacos out front. Would sell more munchies than gas

This.... in my younger years, Iíve hung out with some friends that were REALLY stoned out on weed, and to be honest, Iíve never seen what amounts to the sideshow you are describing. Drunk people? Certainly. Potheads? Not so much.

Well, there was the lady who turned into the imaginary driveway, until she jumped the curb and noticed the bush in her way. And the two cars that tried to park in the same spot simultaneously. These people go to great lengths to get their fake medicine, and are stoned from the minute they wake up in the morning until they go to bed at night. They are smoking stuff that is 5 times more potent than the couple joints you rolled in college, and their intake is staggering. Several ounces per week??? At least the drinkers are somewhat limited in their hours and frequency.

As for munchies, he already sells junk food, but wants nothing to do with attracting more stupid customers. He is in his golden years, and his store is definitely not one where the customer is always right.

I'm all for catching a buzz now and then, but not all day, every day.

You kinda sound like you may be in your golden years as well. Nobody is actually using several oz of that stuff per week.

When I used to drive stoned out of my mind - I was driving PERFECT- hands at 10&2, doing the speed limit...
buzzed ? all over the place

---
edit - those events never have happened in my life ever - just a made up story in my mind of how I "would" drive, if put in that circumstance...

you're so right about this. One opened next to the WM I go to and if you sit there a few minutes, you see all the morons miss the actual parking lot for the place. Then they park at WM and try to climb the hill to get there.

Just for the record I have never smoked pot done any illegal drugs or alcohol.
So the argument about people who drink alcohol should forfeit their driver license, yes, while they are drinking I'm all for it, same as the potheads, but on this case your argument is not valid because no one consumes alcohol as medicine, same should be with the potheads, most people I know that use the excuse of medicine marijuana have been smoking pot way before it was excused as a medicine, but I have never seen anybody getting drunk to heal anything.

One thing that I don't understand is one is totally legal but, if you drive while using it it's very illegal, while the other is illegal but you can drive legally while under it's effect and never be accused of DWI, as I have heard.

Just driving through any large city during rush hour and you will see all kinds of crazy. No way a stoned driver is as bad as a woman that is late and putting on make up driving down the highway. Or the overly safe driver going 10 miles under the speed limit on a major highway. Or the super aggressive driver weaving in and out and riding 1' of of bumpers. I would rather be on the roads with stoners than any those drivers. The gov propaganda video "Refer Madness" warped alot of the boomers mind over cannibis. Alcohol kills more people than all the others combined. Yet its legal. Let that sink in.
